SAVE THE DATE: Arizona Central Region Citizen Corps Event, 8/14, 15, & 16

Update as of 7/14

As of yesterday, the planners of the Arizona Central Region Citizen Corps Event on 8/14-16 indicated they are waiting for approval from the state regarding acquiring the logistical support necessary to hold the event in Prescott or Payson.  An alternate site may be identified if the original plan does not get approved.  More information will be provided as soon as it becomes available.  The planners seem fairly confident that an event will occur on the identified dates.

The next Arizona Central Region Citizen Corps event is scheduled for August 14-16.  The planners are tentatively planning to hold this event in Prescott or Payson.  The times for the event are pending.  More information will be posted as it becomes available.

This event is opened to all Citizen Corps volunteers:  CERT, Volunteers in Police Service (VIPS), Medical Reserve Corps (MRC), Fire Corps, and USAonWatch.org (also know as: Block Watch).

Arizona Central Regional Event is an Opportunity to Achieve Drill Credit

Chandler CERT member who actively participate in this event on 8/14, 15, or 16 for at least four hours will receive credit for their annual drill requirement.
