The following Arizona Division of Emergency Management (ADEM) funded 2 ½-day training event has been approved:

*Course will he held 0800 - 1200 hours each day, totaling 20 hrs.  Classes meet Wednesdays.

Pickup Truck and Trailer Towing Class, Saturday, November 8th, 8am-12 pm, Chandler Fire Training Center.
Type 5 and below CERT members can get certified to drive the Fire Department's 3/4 ton pickup truck and tow the CERT Trailer. Class is limited to the first 6 registrants that apply. Training will incorporate checking out the truck and trailer, safety procedures and safe driving procedures. Participants will learn how to hookup, tow, and maneuver and properly park the CERT Trailer. Participants will be asked to drive the truck and trailer to CERT events in the Valley at different CERT functions. To register call 480-782-2161 or email certadmin@chandleraz.gov
